Switzerland 2022 - Day 7: Preda-Bergün Sledding & Trying Swiss Cheese Fondue

We survived. Those ghost movies usually first night the evil spirits will give chance so we managed to get a decent night’s sleep. Gam xia Mother Mary 保佑.

Welcome to our kitchen from the 1800s. Where the fridge cannot be fully closed, the scissors turns things you cut into confetti and the old school kettle doesn’t make any noises so you have to stand there and watch until the water boils.

Breakfast is a mish mash of random stuff we bought from the supermarket the previous night.

Jh’s frozen burger being upgraded with some ham. A true michelin star meal.

There was a suspended thin layer of fog on the massive ice lake because our support never plant observer ward.

We planned to go skiing but all of us backed out after our near death experience in Grindelwald. All except big balls Wong, who came closest to dying that day but persisted with his mission of turning Jl into a widow.

Exclusive footage of Reagan dominating the slopes that day with his newly purchased ski goggles.

Team Hum Ji on our way to Preda while Ivy and Suf planned to spend the day at their luxurious Kempinski hotel. Nmjhl.

Jl cheerfully looking forward to Reagan's insurance payout.

Not to be deterred by our first disastrous attempt at sledding, we came here to prove that we can do what many local 5 year olds could.

A single, solitary cloud greeted us after 6 days of clear, blue skies.

The Preda-Bergün toboggan run is an actual beginner friendly sledding trail with gentle slopes. A little too gentle in fact, that we had to drag our sleds along for the first 200 metres.

A group photo before we begin so in case anything happens we have updated obituary pictures.

And it was great fun! No flying into safety nets or intertwining with ski trails, just a manageable and slightly thrilling ride down the landscape.

We stopped many times along the route to take photos of the sick views.

Which also includes a different kind of sick view involving Jl grinding Th.

Jl demonstrating her strength and independence by carrying Th with ease.

While Jh struggled carrying his burden..

Was only meant to photoshop Reagan in but because Jl closed her eyes i had to photoshop them in too. That will be $50 ma'am. Paynow or paywave?

A quick tea break on the sidelines before we continue with the fun run.

The trail ends at the beautiful but smelly town of Bergün due to the farm animals that remained unseen and cooped up in the barns during winter.

Meanwhile back at St Moritz, Sufivy were having a sexy photoshoot in the freezing cold.

While Reagan was hanging onto his dear life on the ski slopes that were definitely not beginner friendly, we had so much fun sledding that we had to do it twice.

An elated high 5 between the girls after assuring that we won't be dying today.

Watch out for these thrill seekers breaking all the speed records on this run.

Play too much hungry le, it’s time for some lunch.

A chonky bacon burger and a mountain of fries to replenish our energy.

But why the tiramisu got starfruit one??

We called our half dead olympic skier and swimsuit models to make their way over as this was an experience not to be missed.

As it turns out, the night views were even more jaw dropping and magical.

Best of all, we somehow had the slopes to ourselves as everyone else had gone home in fear of us Asians transmitting the covid virus to them.

Risking my life to film more POV videos so i can tear up when blogging about them 2 years later.

The simple, childish humour between 2 grown ass men.

Hey Sufian, it's also $50 for helping to take this video. Paynow or paywave?

After completing our final sledding run, we took to a colourful bar made out of ice for some refreshments.

Non-alcoholics shamelessly posing with others' beers tsk tsk.

Before returning to St. Moritz, we went to try the second of the 2 authentic Swiss dishes.

Introducing the fondue, a melted cheese and white wine concoction with your choice of dipping vessel, in our case, some chunks of bread.

Piping hot and bursting with intense cheesiness, it is quite enjoyable but also gets cloying quickly especially if it is the only dish you are having. It was also not cheap, as this cost us about SGD $100 for what is essentially bread and cheese.

A fun filled day ends as we begrudgingly took the train back to our haunted apartment.

When uploading ig stories is more important than sleep.

The rich folks came over from their 5 star hotel to enjoy an instant noodle party with us poor cunts in our humble abode. Happy to see that supper transcends income levels and spending power. One more night to endure in St. Mortiz so here's hoping Mother Mary comes in clutch for us again.
