Tadah! Our much anticipated JB trip! What happened to Japan trip you ask?.. Unfortunately i cannot blog about Japan yet because Jh's shitty iphone does not allow him to upload his share of pictures to our Google Drive. Everybody say thank you Jun Hong. No reason to sit around and wait, i'll catch up on my backlogs. Like this random, impromptu overnight stay at JB just because most of us were unemployed at the time and we were too free.
On the bright side, going into JB during the weekdays meant the fastest immigration check of our lives. Look at how happy it makes our xiao Jia Bye to cross customs within 15 mins to have a shiok lunch at Restoran Ya Wang.
Aaaaand another shop is closed without any reason. What kind of suay curse am i stuck with?
So we ended up eating watermelons and drinking coconuts with sambal belachan. Joke, we had the consistently good paper wrapped chicken and other naise tze char dishes that have already been posted here a thousand times before.
The eternal struggle with our coconut meat. Also, 谢谢加零强烈推荐.

Our apartment was tricky to find as it was not in the main building of KSL. To get to the lobby, you have to go outside of the mall and enter through a carpark. Shady stuff.
The apartment was very spacious, but that's about all i can say for it as the furniture was minimal and no Wifi was provided. Seriously, what year is this hotel living in?? Jh came after work to join in on our pointless adventure. +1 for effort.
Is it Lee's moving service? Since there was so much space, the 5 of us decided to squeeze into one room to kpkb together the whole night. Seemed like a good idea at the time.

Ck summoned his Malaysian cousin to be our Grab driver and in return, we treated him to a seafood dinner at Restoran Todak.
Our goal was to eat so much seafood that this bridge will collapse on our exit.
It was our first time at this famous seafood restaurant directly opposite Sembawang. Crowded even on a weekday, must be good shit.
Handpicking the poor lobster that's going to end up in our tummies. Although the price of a lobster wasn't that cheap, at least we knew it was fresh.

Chili crab wasn't that meaty and the eggy sauce was decent but not great.
I enjoyed the pepper sauce but same as before, the dish was let down by some anorexic crabs.
Having our clams stir fried with spring onions and ginger sounded like a good idea but the taste did not turn out the way we pictured. Like when i thought rebonding my hair straight would turn me into some Japanese superstar but i ended up looking like Qihui.
Not a fan of steamed fish but the soy sauce was awesome. Hen gian drink finish since NKF is just below my house.
Our lobster was deep fried in butter and it was a bit of a waste since we could not taste the freshness. Meat wasn't that much to go on as well. Is it the seafood here all on diet?
Can't go wrong with an oily fu rong omelette.
After dinner, it's back to KSL to satisfy the sweet tooth. That apple cake is so chio and tempting but $30 though..

Got a double cheese special and it's a delicious saucy mess of cheese, eggs and beef. So sinful but yummy as always. This may have contributed to the start of Jh's food poisoning.
10/10 ...would not buy again.
After showering and chilling around in the hotel, we went down to find food because there wasn't much else to do around the area besides having supper.
Excited for my virgin lok lok experience! Oh yeah poke my mouth hymen open with those dirty sticks of goodness
No idea what the prices are for the different coloured sticks but it's JB so just take only.

Our very chao tah skewers of balls, luncheon meat and enoki mushrooms thanks to the showoff. Not that great but i'm sure there are better lok lok stalls out there waiting for me.
Back to our home for the night while Ck shows his dick to our neighbours. 4 guys 1 girl in a room but it's Jl so nobody cares.
Finally got to have our roast duck at Ya Wang for breakfast lunch after sleeping in until the checkout time.

Actually by now we are so sick of Ya Wang that we haven't returned since. One day the gianness will return but for now no oily duck meat pls.

Blatantly disregarding there's 1 and a half ducks on the table, Jl's favourite 奶白 qualifies this as a perfectly well balanced meal.
After that gluttonous meal, we wandered into a cafe to enjoy my flat white and the serene ambience while pondering over the latest fashion combinations straight from Myeongdong.
Just kidding, i'm the pervert that snipes mei meis on escalators from afar, not some high SES cafe hopper. And on that 低级 note i will end this post abruptly because there is no proper conclusion to a shitty trip with no purpose. Ciaos.
