Camp Symmetry 2013!

大哥 got these tickets for Camp Symmetry, a 12 hours indie music festival that featured Mew and invited me along. Tbh we haven't heard of the rest of the bands in the lineup prior to the concert (not a strong follower of indie music) and were just there to see Mew, but they were pretty damn awesome.

Reached there when the Last Dinosaurs were performing. Definitely one of the standout performances for me. And the lead singer teasing me with his sweaty nipples made me wet. The crowd wasn't too big and pretty laid back. You didn't have to be pushing, shoving and grinding with sweaty people to enjoy the concert unless you really wanted a front row view.

Fucking muddy field with dragonflies zooming around. Wearing jeans and cloth shoes was a really bad idea. The large amount of teenage girls wearing sleeveless tops with sweaty armpits made up for the terrible field conditions though. Not saying that i have a sweaty girl fetish *cough cough*

Just spread a mat, get some booze and enjoy the music!

A band before Mew was slated to perform we decided to hop in to get a front row view. We bravely squeezed in with our battle beverages.

The Cribs. He had to be fucking high, running and jumping everywhere.

And then it was time for Mew...

There's something magical about listening and watching your teenage tunes played live right in front of your eyes and ears. I almost jizzed 8 times during Comforting Sounds. Definitely one of the moments to remember for life. And they were so fucking near us i could almost suck his dick, but that would be a little inappropriate..

Great music, sweaty armpits, muddy shoes, dirty jeans, cooling margarita, sweaty sleeveless girls, fantastic scenery, crappy fried chicken, balls-vibrating bass, exploding ear drums, teenage sweaty armpits, homing dragonflies targeting your face, awesome festival. Yep that pretty much sums it up.
10/10 would go again next year.
