Japan Trip 2015 - Day 1: Arrival in Tokyo, Shibuya

Lai liao lor. 12gb worth of pictures and 30+gb of videos. Will try to push out the posts while beautiful Japan is still fresh in our minds.

First of all, our next level, ultra detailed itinerary which garnered orgasmic claims of "sugoi!" from some locals and even appeared in an interview:

We've never worked so hard on an itinerary before, not even my school projects so we're pretty proud of the completed article. Would recommend you to prepare some tissues in case you get your bodily fluids all over your monitor while scrolling through it.

Also, we used Google Maps Point of Interests to navigate around. So, armed with wifi, we found all of our destinations fairly easily and rarely got lost:

Met up at Changi Airport terminal 3 at around 6 am, got our portable wifi for $8 a day:

Good shit. MSE recommends. And off we go to check in!

Had breakfast at Burger King and saw many tall tall chio chio ang mohs.

Butterfly garden inside Terminal 3. Showing off dat sexy zoom on our new camera.

四楼的电灯泡

Happy faces because there's no facepalm =D

Presenting our satki S I N G A P O R E A I R L I N E S plane

Ok actually is this one BUT STILL COUNTED AS SQ HOR

Random snipe of tudungs

Training our sniping skills for Japanese chio bus

Wolf of Techlink removing his clothes for full body inspection before being allowed in the aircraft

All safely on board :D Flight was alright except for some noisy nuisance sitting behind me touching my ears every now and then. First time sit SQ got free drinks and movies hen kai xin

Cool flight tracker showing us which ocean we will die in if the plane crashed

Obligatory cloud picture that everyone will just scroll through

Someone please remove this thing from our flight

Sniped some xmm watching Harry Potter

aaaaaand after just over 6 hours of flying, our first sight of Jippun

Land of the Rising sun become land of the falling rain

Superstars arriving at Haneda airport to people bowing

After a smooth checkpoint clearance, we exchanged our voucher for our 7 day JR pass which enables us to take unlimited bullet train and Jr subway rides. Cost us $330 each @#$! Knn sibei chor

Super friendly staff at the airport JR pass counter who for some reason requested to take pictures with us. 1 of them was Taiwanese. I think they mistook us for some hot korean boy band but it's ok many people make the same mistake <(ツ)>

The $330 piece of paper

Buying our Suica cards, their equivalent of our Ez link which can be used on almost all trains and buses in major cities of Japan.

First impression of their mrt? Fking clean and quiet

It's simple.. we just have to take Keikyu Line from Haneda International Airport Station towards Sengakuji to Shinagawa Station, change to JR Yamanote Line and take to Meguro Station on the clockwise direction, and then change to the Tokyu Meguro Line towards Hiyoshi to get to Musashi Koyama Station. Got it?

It's quite confusing as some trains go towards a different destination or only stops at a few stations so we have to skip certain trains.

The train GUM PUA quiet like funeral. No jokes or jiaoweis allowed or will go jail

Sit priority seat 没脸见人

Oops i forgot to mention after changing 3 trains, we still have to walk 15 mins to our airbnb apartment with our luggages. Also, our first taste of Japan's weather. It just stopped raining and it was so cold that my map was freezing my fingers.

After multiple alleys and twist and turns, we're here! House tour later on, let's head to Shibuya for dinner first.

The neighbourhood wasn't as safe as we thought, check out this burglar we caught

Short train ride to Shibuya

Small uniqlo shop inside mrt station

Once out of the station, at the Hachiko exit is the famous Shibuya crossing

People mountain people sea

monster among a sea of people..

Chiobus everywhere though

Crossing the intersection..

and super clean streets gives us eyegasms. And of course our first meal in Japan has to be....

Mcdonalds woooooooo

Just kidding we had ramen at Ichiran

Luckily the queue wasn't too bad

Ichiran is the most famous ramen chain restaurant in Japan

Yo yo next level futuristic vending machine too chim for me get on that Japanese level yo. Heng got fellow Singaporean in front teach us how to use.

Letting you know which seats are available

First taste, the original flavour

They have these little booths to let you enjoy your ramen without getting disturbed by the faggots beside you.

Too bad we love eating with our faggots

Need to pluck your own half boiled egg

Jh's egg almost didn't make it

HOLY FUCK SO GOOD

Orgasmic slurps can be heard throughout the meal. So thick and flavourful. Confirm win any ramen in SG.

Ooh ahhh waahh

And that egg, so sexy that i could masturbate to it

After makan, go gaigai

After a short while started to rain pretty heavily

Stumbled upon Pablo cheesetart shop which we had intended to try

Dabao-ed one back to our apartment

Small kids playing with the fog from our breathe

Met a japanese yakuza who almost tio our taiji :o

Hunting for our next meal..

The one you are waiting for will not come lolol

The sushi place that we had intended to go had already closed so we headed to the "backup" place

Standing sushi bar which was actually a blessing in disguise

Little did we know we would be having the best sushi on our first day

No seats, just order and the chef makes it straightaway and places it in front of you with the rice still warm.

Shoulder to shoulder with the locals dining with their colleagues after work

So fresh.. so good... This set cost me slightly less than $20.

Jh's flametorched sushis were the best he ever had

Couldn't resist ordering another raw prawn sushi which was so sweet. The raw heads the chef asked me to suck were quite gao wei though. Still, such an awesome meal. One of the best of the trip for sure. While waiting for us to be done, a few of them went next door to have some desserts.

Cheesecake and tiramisu were pretty good, but when we went in after them we didn't realise there was a minimum order of 1 per pax

First fucker of the trip alert. This cb kia waiter (not Ck) sibei du lan cause we gaijin (foreigner) and didn't know about the rule, give smelly face and stamp around the place like a spoilt kid. Chill leh sis, ok lor we order give you happy dont angwee k?

Then most of the cakes were sold out so i got stuck with this joke fruitcake. Quite funny. Anyway, not letting this or him ruin our first day.

Took pictures with the famous Hachiko statue. You know, that dog which waited for its owner at the station everyday even after the owner died. Our new camera was really shitty in low light conditions, combined with the fact that we don't know how to use it explains why most of the pictures on the first few days were so blurry.

Haha no friend

After some adjusting, finally can see Hachiko

Trying to pose through the cold wind in 8 degrees. Shiok feeling that we will never experience here.

Buying some drinks before we head back to our apartment.

不要拍我!

As promised, our airbnb apartment tour in 1080p FULL HUD 60FPS SMOOTH SATKI CAMERA VIDEO

After settling down in our room we sampled our cheese tart from Pablo. Sj's face for scale

Pretty good, but not as melty as the viral facebook video suggested.

Also, a special treat for you viewers:

一条龙!with special guest appearance by Jl's bra on the bed.

Fitting pair of shorts to end of our first day. Long (and big) ass way to go.
